NEC DSX Phone System Power Supply
The Power supply provides the various DC voltages required to power the DSX-80/160 phone system cards. The DSX-80 4-Slot phone system requires a single power supply. The DSX-160 8-Slot phone system requires up to 3 power supplies, depending on system configuration. You need 1 power supply for every 32 phones.

NEC DSX Phone System 16 Port CO/Trunk Card
The NEC DSX phone system 16COIU Card supports 16 analog loop start CO lines. This card allows connection of up to 16 telephone lines to the phone system. This card supports caller ID and has 2 power failure ports.

The NEC DSX phone system 8COIU Card supports 8 analog loop start CO lines. This card allows connection of up to 8 telephone lines to the phone system. This card supports caller ID and has 2 power failure ports.

The CPU Card is the NEC DSX phone system's control center. It provides the system's Linux operating system, central processing, stored program and memory for site-specific data. Each system requires a CPU Card. This card can be used in the DSX-80 phone system or the DSX-160 phone system.

NEC DSX Phone System T1/PRI Trunk Card
The NEC DSX phone system T1/E1/PRI Line Card provides a connection point for a telephone company T1 or PRI circuit. Provides 24 channels (phone lines) when configured for a T1 and 23 channels (phone lines) when configured for a PRI. When connecting to a T1 circuit the framing and coding, the DSX supports B8ZS (bit 8 zero suppression) and ESF (extended super frame).

NEC DSX Phone System 16 Port CO Digital Station Card
The NEC DSX telephone system 16ESIU Card connects 16 digital extensions (NEC DSX 34B Display Tel, 22B Display Tel) to the phone system. Only two 16ESIU cards can be installed in the DSX-80 phone system. In the NEC DSX-160 phone system one power supply is required for every two 16ESIU cards.
