SET ANSWER MODE:
You can have 3 different answering modes when someone calls your extension.
RING MODE: When someone calls your extension your phone will ring. You must press the speaker or lift the handset to answer the phone.
VOICE ANNOUNCE: When someone calls your extension the speaker on your phone will activate allowing you to hear the person calling your extension. The mic will not be activated so you must press the speaker button or lift the handset for the caller to hear you.
AUTO ANSWER: This is the setting that makes your phone act like a true intercom. When a person dials your extension you will hear a brief alert tone and then your speaker and mic will activate allowing you to hear the caller and the caller to hear you without pressing any buttons or picking up the handset.
NOTE:This setting is for internal calls only and does not effect calls from the outside.
Press TRANSFER 103
Press the volume up button until the desired ring mode is displayed on the bottom line of the LCD Display.
Press the third (right) softkey to save the setting.
Press the TRANSFER key to exit.
