MMC 705 - System Speed Dial


The phone system has a system wide, shared speed dial list. This list starts at 500 and ends at 799. These speed dials can be dialed from any phone.

      While the handset is in the reciever (the phone is on-hook) press TRANSFER and dial 705.

      Dial a speed dial number (500-799).

      In this case 500.

      Dial 9 (the 9 is inserted so the phone system will access an outside line before dialing the number).

      Dial the phone number to be stored. It can include *,#, FLASH and PAUSE.

      Press TRANSFER to store the number.



For the purpose of programming speed dial numbers, the programmable keys are known as A, B, C, D, E and F and are defined below.

DS24 keys

• The A key is not used.

• The B key inserts a flash.

• The C key inserts a pause.
