Changing the time and date on an NEC DSX Telephone SystemCheck our new knowledge base for more information! Click here! The easiest method for changing the time and date on your NEC DSX phone system is using the attendant phone (usually the lowest extension on your system). The attendant phone is set up with a special class of service that allows you to change the time and date without actually entering the phone system programming mode. To change the time and date from your attendant phone: With the handset in the cradle press # 8 3 (#TD). Your display should have the current time, enter the new time in 24 hour format and press the HOLD button at the bottom of the DSX phone. Your display shoud show the current date, enter 2-digits for the Month, 2-digits for the Day and 4-digits for the Year. Press Hold and then Speaker to exit. Changing the Time and Date through programming If you do not have access to extension 300 you can still change the time using through adminstration programming. To access administration programming: Press the Intercom button followed by # * # * Enter the administration password, 0 0 0 0 Dial 1021 Press HOLD Enter the new time in 24 hour format and press HOLD Enter 2-digits for the Month, 2-digits for the Day and 4-digits for the Year. Press HOLD Press the SPEAKER button until your phone returns to the normal display. |
