Changing the time and date on an NEC DSX Telephone System
These instructions will allow you to change which phones will ring on inbound calls on your NEC DSX-80 and DSX-40 telephone system. These instructions will apply to both the NEC DSX 34 button and NEC DSX 22 button phones. You will need to perform the following steps on each telephone you wish to change.
Step 1: Leave the handset on the cradle, press # 7 2 5
Your lines keys will light up either green or red and Select Line Key will appear on your display
Step 2: Press each line key until the desired ring type is displayed on the phone, i.e. Always, Night Ring, Delay Ring, or Lamp Only.
Repeat this step for each line
Step 3: Press Speaker
